About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled System Infrastructure Administrator to join our team in Barcelona and ensure the seamless operation of our systems while collaborating with colleagues in Germany. As a System Administrator at KPS, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support Linux-based systems, with preference for Ubuntu and Debain distributions.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate system administrations tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Administer and manage enterprise-level virtualization solutions.
- Implement and oversee backup and recovery procedures.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security, taking proactive measures to ensure optimal system operation.
- Utilize networking knowledge to support an enterprise environment, including switching, firewall and Wi-Fi.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and provide system support.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge base.
