As a Denim Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and uniqueness of our denim products. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of denim production, from wash and finishings to pattern making and fittings.
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in denim craftsmanship, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement innovative denim wash techniques to achieve desired finishes.
*Collaborate with the design team to create unique wash effects that align with the brand's aesthetic.
*Ensure the quality and consistency of denim wash processes throughout production.
Pattern Making:
*Create and modify denim patterns based on design specifications.
*Collaborate with designers to interpret creative concepts into practical and feasible denim patterns.
*Optimize patterns for production efficiency without compromising design integrity.
Fittings:
*Conduct fittings to assess the fit, comfort, and overall quality of denim garments.
*Collaborate with the production team to address any fit or construction issues.
*Work closely with the design team to implement changes based on fit feedback.
Communication:
*Effectively communicate with team members in both Spanish and English.
*Translate technical terms and instructions to ensure clear understanding across language barriers.
*Facilitate seamless collaboration between team members who speak different languages.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Denim Specialist with a focus on wash and finishings, pattern making, and fittings.
In-depth knowledge of denim production processes and a keen understanding of industry trends.
Proficiency in pattern-making software and tools.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and creative environment.
